Performance Time:  3:30 p.m. at the Calico Stage

Please click on the picture below.  The district-required transportation is required for your child to perform at Knott's on May 16th.

Tickets for students who don't have Knott's annual passes will be purchased with choir funds.   Please let Mrs. Bird know by Tuesday, April 15th if your child will have a valid Knott's pass on May 16th.
Additional CASH-ONLY group-rate tickets are available through Mrs. Bird for $45 each until Tuesday, April 15th at Music Express rehearsal.

Please submit cash in a sealed envelope labeled with:
  • Your child’s name
  • The number of tickets requested
  • The total amount of cash enclosed

If you miss the April 15th deadline, tickets can still be purchased online in advance for as low as $62 on the Knott’s Berry Farm website.

Friends and family tickets will be distributed at a Music Express rehearsal once Mrs. Bird receives them.
Students travel by car with their parent/s or another designated adult to Knott's Berry Farm and meet at 3 p.m. at the Calico Stage for our 3:30 p.m. performance.  Students DO NOT need to attend school that day (Mrs. Bird is providing secretaries with a list of students participating).  Transportation plans MUST be indicated in the transportation agreement/ticket Google Form in order for your child to perform.

If you are unable to make plans to either travel with your child to the park OR designate another adult to travel with them, please reach out to Mrs.Bird to make arrangements.
Students should arrive at the Calico Stage at 3 p.m. wearing their Music Express uniform (Music Express t-shirt and jeans; any shoes are fine).

Suggested Items to Bring to Knott's:

  • money for food and souvenirs
  • water bottle 
  • sweatshirt
  • hat 
  • sunscreen

Performance

Students should meet at the Calico Stage gate at 3 p.m.  Our performance time is from 3:30-4:00 p.m.  
Music Express is done for the year!  Students should stay with the adults who drove them to the park that day.  If a student will be going to Knott's with a different adult after the performance, please let Mrs. Bird know.
Adults traveling with a student with medical needs are required to bring medications/medical devices with them to administer to the student if necessary.
Please let me know and I will do whatever I can to ensure your child has a great day at the park!
I will be sending out Remind messages throughout the day to keep everyone in the loop.  Please encourage anyone joining us at the park or anyone picking up your child at the end of the day to text @mexpress to the number 81010 if you haven't done so already.   In case of emergency, please text me via Remind (either via the app or by replying to a text) and I will get back to you ASAP.
